Worked as set dresser under the Art Direction of Brett Hatcher and Maria Dirolf. I not only worked to install and deinstall every one of the 25 sets, I worked as on on set dresser during shoots, helped to build props, and was put in charge of creating the set of a children’s play for a scene.

Franconia Sculpture Park Resident Intern Artist    
August-November 2016
While living and working at the Franconia Sculpture Park, I worked with a small group of artists to maintain a 43 acre park, its facilities and activities. My duties included: Facilitating workshops, leading tours, hosting and running public and private events, repairing sculpture, installing sculpture, grounds-keeping, house-keeping, gardening, designing and welding a 20' tall figurative sculpture "Self Portrait with Cucumbers" to be exhibited. 

Yeah Maybe Gallery: Spa Show. October 2016, Minneapolis, MN
Invited to create an exhibition at the artist run gallery space, Yeah Maybe. In collaboration with Nicole O’Malley, I transformed the gallery into a functioning spa.

I was invited to show drawings in an up and coming gallery in Bennington, Vermont.

Assisted on the build of “Gallacotpus”, the most impressive float of the Saint Anne’s Parade.

  Group show curated by Anja Carr. Installation of video Wishing was shown in performance artist, Anja Carr’s PUNK CUBE gallery. Costumed performances by both artist groups took place on opening night.

 Solo pop up show in Josefine Lyche’s artist -run gallery space. The One-Night-Only event consisted of texts and performance, engaging the audience in an artistic revolution and life drawing session.  

KORO (Public Art Norway) Independent Research on Norwegian Public Art     June-September 2016
Due to my involvement in the design of a sculpture for the United States Embassy in Oslo, Norway, I was sponsored by the Arts in Embassies program to conduct an independent research project on arts funding and the arts community in Oslo, resulting in a collection of oral histories.

I was one of eight interns selected to design and construct a gallery show to be displayed for two months of the summer.

I was invited to participate in a gallery show that challenged artists to construct pieces that could function as part of a putt-putt golf event. I was funded by the Student Endowment for the Arts.

I created and managed the start up of an international collaborative project between Chicago based Borderbend artists and Mexican artists. I interviewed Chicago artists, researched grants, and updated an art blog for the organization.
